I’m not sure why I haven’t posted this before, but this was my dad’s wedding cake back in June 2014, which I made as a gift to him and his wife. 🙂
It’s definitely got imperfections which I would love to go back in time and fix, but considering I made the whole thing in 14 hours the afternoon/night before the wedding, I think it’s pretty good! The top layer is chocolate cake with a raspberry filling. The middle is traditional vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream icing. And the bottom is a lemon pound cake with vanilla buttercream icing. Fondant all around the outside, with little fondant bubbles around the edges.
